• A small, tiny survival SMP added a new Earth gamemode in hope of gaining popularity. Inspiration had been taken from previous Earth servers such as EarthMC or TownyOrigins.

August 15th, 2020

• The server fully became an Earth server, got a new IP, and changed its name to Emerald Earth.

August 16th, 2020

• The first new players begin to join.

• McMMO had been added that day, and multiple errors were fixed.

• The first few hackers joined, and were banned.

• Staff Applications opened for the first time, and Ap0t and Jdnitro1 became the first staff.

August 18th, 2020

• The first build competition began.

• Default starting money amount raised to $5000. Channels for advertising nations and markets were created. 

• First few towns created. The first town ever was named Bilibino, created by __MrGaming__. First nation created was the British Empire created by MitroPower.

• The first major update happened. Exploited items in the shop were removed, and lots of items were added. Afk kick timer added. Town and nation costs determined. Ranks were added for the first time. Donator ranks were created, being Supporter+ and Supporter.

• Staff ranks reset for previous staff.

• Top Voters of the Month began for the first time.

• Rank skipping bug fixed. Weathervote added, high speed rails and fast sleep added.

• Later that night Crypt0byte had griefed multiple bases with a Trench Pickaxe that was held over from before the reset. These could not be rolled back. Bases affected were: Vinland, Berlin, Stuckathome, and Venezia.

• The decision was made to close the server due to all of the hatred, harassment and toxicity as well as a rival server, Industrial Earth. This ends the Pre-Reboot Age as well as the first discord.

• After the long closure of Emerald Earth, inspiration gathered in 0x4l and the announcement of Emerald Earth Rebooted was made to former players. A new discord was created.

• Server launch had been announced as a teaser.

• Progress completely halted due to the host computer frying after a raccoon dug into a power transformer, causing it to explode, which then sent a huge shock into the computer, frying a stick of ram as well as the battery.

• The host had returned and progress resumed. After a week or so, progress slowed.

• The formal announcement of Emerald Earth's reboot happened, and said the launch would begin May 22nd at 6PM EST.
